BBT.Live Partners with Check Point Software Technologies to Provide Secure Network Communications

New partnership will see Check Point IoT nano technology embedded in BBT.Live’s connectivity package to provide a secure solution for service providers globally

SAN CARLOS, CA  —  Fri, 19 Aug 2022

Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a leading provider of cyber security solutions globally, has announced a strategic partnership with BBT.Live (Be Broadband Technologies) to strengthen the security of BBT.Live’s communications components. The partnership will involve Check Point Quantum IoT Protect Nano Agent being embedded within BBT.Live’s software.
In a world that increasingly relies on digitization, cloud-computing and the ability to work from anywhere, there is growing demand for an all-inclusive network communications solution that is reliable, simple to use and secure. Whereas previously, service providers would have to rely on multiple vendors, BBT.Live is a one-stop-shop that enables service providers to deliver cloud-based, broadband connectivity packages to clients distributed across multiple offices, branches and remote home offices.
BBT.Live’s network connectivity integrates with any hardware or cloud environment and the simplicity of the system and ease of deployment allows service providers to deliver excellent customer experience while significantly reducing IT, customer service and technical team’s costs.
By embedding Check Point Quantum IoT Protect within its software, BBT.Live’s solution is also completely secure from cyber threats. Check Point’s innovative Nano Agent technology is an embedded runtime protection solution that provides built-in security against attacks such as access control, memory corruption, shell injection, import table hijacking, control flow hijacking, and more. It guarantees 100% coverage without compromising performance. It monitors the activity of a device, identifies anomalies indicative of complex cyberattacks and blocks them in real time.
Miri Ofir, R&D Director at Check Point Software commented: “The broad distribution of IoT devices in enterprises enables cyber attackers to use them as a gateway to the corporate network, including routers and communications devices. We are currently seeing a widespread malware named ZuoRAT that is infecting routers, usually found in small organizations, branches and homes. It is estimated that thousands of organizations have been affected by this attack. The Nano Agent that we embed in IoT devices identifies and blocks attempted attacks in real time and provides complete protection against Zero-Day vulnerabilities. We thank BBT.Live for partnering with us and we are confident that their clients will be secured to the highest level.”
Moshe Levinson, Founder and CEO at BBT.Live said: “Partnering with Check Point Software brings us great pride and is a vote of confidence in the product that we have developed. There is no match to Check Point’s capabilities in the field of cybersecurity and we are delighted for its assistance in delivering a complete and secure product to our customers.”
